Intersections @ GGC MARCH 22, 2019

7th Annual Intersections Interdisciplinary Conference on Gender and Sexuality

Friday, March 22, 2019 at Georgia Gwinnett College

We are proud to host this conference on intersectional connections at the region’s most diverse college.

Intersections is a faculty-driven conference for undergraduate and professional research on gender and sexuality. The programming, which features panel and poster presentations, as well as an art interactive, is designed to facilitate interdisciplinary conversations that provide new research platforms for faculty and staff, and to provide a model of professionalization for students.

Intersections is coordinated by Dr. Rebecca Flynn and Dr. Marni Brown, and executed with the support of Student Engagement, The Office of Student Involvement and The Student Center (SISC), and Career Development and Advising Center (CDAC). We are proud of our long-standing partnerships with our student organizations, particularly Sigma Tau Delta, Faces of Gender and Sexuality, and GGC’s Nursing Student Government. Special thanks to Nicole Convis and Laurel Holland of SLA.
